Our Recreational Soccer program is about encouraging kids and their love of the game.  This is a great opportunity for kids who want to give the sport a try - no matter their age or experience - and find out why it is the most popular sport in world!

Recreation Soccer Season: August 26, 2018- November 11, 2018
Open registration: Now- August 5, 2018
Late registration: July 23- August 5 (Additional $15.00 fee)

Players must be registered by their Birth Year.  Ex.  If a player was born in 2010, they will register for U9, no matter the month they were born in.  Requests for player placement will be considered but there is no guarantee that the request will be granted.

Practices & Games

Recreational teams will have two team practices per week.  The practice day and time will depend on coach and field availability.   If you have any practice time conflicts, please note those in the comment sections during the registration process.  Again, we will try our best to work with you,  but there are no guarantees.

Practices are held at H.C. Nesbit Park behind Kensington Elementary School, and at Western Union Elementary School.

Because these teams compete against teams from other associations in Union County, they may be required to travel in the immediate area.

Following are the age groups anticipated for this season:

Equipment Needed

Each player is required to have a uniform. All players will receive a new uniform each Fall.  This is already included in the price of registration.

Each child will also need shin guards and an appropriately sized soccer ball at each practice and game.  Soccer cleats are not required but are highly recommended.

Your fees pay for league and state registration fees, referee fees, equipment, field maintenance and utility costs.

The fee for the Fall 2018 season is $200 for players U8 & above.

                                           **THERE ARE NO REFUNDS**

Coaches at this level are volunteers.  They willingly give of their time and energy to our young players.  In return for their efforts they receive our appreciation, memories made with their children and a group of smiling faces.  Please consider becoming a coach and indicate your interest by selecting that option during registration.

If you have a specific day, time, or location that you can or can not practice, please add this to the comment section of the registration.  While we strive to honor requests; however,  we can not guarantee all can be met.
