Fees for Academy, Select, and Classic

Upon acceptance into the Waxhaw Soccer Club program, each player shall be expected to commit to their respective teams for its duration.  This commitment includes but is not limited to:

·         Filling a roster spot on a team for the entire year (from June 2017 through June of 2018)

·         Participating in team camps

·         Remitting all payments on time, including all team fees

Acceptance of a roster position obligates the family to pay the player’s entire program fee, regardless of circumstances that may limit a player’s activity.  Our policy is to offer no refund except for extraordinary circumstances (season ending injury or family relocation outside of the immediate area). NO REFUNDS.

Failure to remit fees and/or payments on time will result in the immediate pulling of the NCYSA Member Pass (player’s card) and suspension of all player privileges including but not limited to tryouts, training, games and tournaments.  A service charge of $50 may be charged to reinstate a player card.

Fees are inclusive and include WAA, CASYL and NCYSA Insurance and Membership Fees, team administration expenses, field maintenance, 1 practice T-shirt and 2 paid tournaments.

Expenses that are mandatory but are not covered would include game and practice uniform, team fees, referee fees and preseason camps.  

**Team fees are mandatory and vary from team to team depending on tournament selection and number of games played. They will cover ref fees, additional tournaments, and travel incidentals for coaches.  Fees will be collected by team managers at the beginning of each season.** 

 Additional expenses that are not included are soccer bags, warm ups, personal soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, team camps, tournament incidentals such as travel, meals and hotel expenses. Coaches and teams may decide to participate in more than 2 tournaments. It will be up to the teams to collect these additional expenses at the time of tournament registration.

Uniform Expense:  For New Players or Players needing extras. Approximately $100 – Game Uniform (Includes 2 Adidas Jerseys, 1 pair of game shorts, 1 pair of game socks, and 1 pair of pink socks for breast cancer awareness month) **U15 and U16 Boys’ team are not required to purchase pink socks.**

**The cost does not include the mandatory practice attire:  Practice t shirt, navy shorts, and white socks. **                                

                                               

A $200.00 commitment fee will be due at the time of offer for Academy, and a $290.00 commitment fee will be due at the time of offer for Select/Classic players. All payments will be due for the remaining balance per the following payment schedule – statements will NOT be mailed.

WSC understands that a financial circumstance may change during the year.  If a family has difficulty meeting the WSC payment schedule or paying the team fees, it is incumbent upon the family to work out a viable payment schedule with the WSC treasurer.  Contact John Marin at treasurer@waxhawsoccer.org for details.
