Waxhaw Soccer Rec Player of the Season

Updated Thursday November 9, 2017 by Waxhaw Soccer Club.

We have had a very successful fall season. It has been such a great season and we have seen so many players consistently standing out for great leadership and sportsmanship that we decided to close out the season with a Spotlight Player of the Season instead of the player of the week.  So, without further adieu...please join us in congratulating the Fall 2017 Spotlight Player of the Season, Taylor DeFranco from the WAA2 U8 Girls team coached by Coach Geoff and Coach Tyson.  Congratulations Taylor!!!!!

Here is what your coaches had to say about you:

"One word best describes the reason Taylor DeFranco was selected as our spotlight player this year. Consistency

She consistently showed up to practice with a positive attitude
She consistently listened to directions at practice
She consistently gave 100% effort on every play
She consistently treated all of her teammates with respect
She consistently learned and applied new techniques
She consistently did any thing the coaches asked of her
And last but certainly not least she consistently did all of this with a smile and positive attitude

Taylor is a great soccer player and an exceptional young lady. She has been a role model for our team and represents all that is great about Waxhaw Athletics."
